| | Today I am posting edition # 6 of blog's "Theme Days" / "meme's" / "carnivals". Yes, list # 6. The first one I did was posted back on April 17th, 2009. There were fifty five (55) 'theme days' contained in the original list. On May 15th, 2009 I posted a second one. That list contained one hundred and twenty six (126). A jump of seventy one (71). The third list was posted on June 12th, 2009 and contained a total of one hundred and ninety eight (198). A jump of seventy two (72). The fourth list was posted on July 17th, 2009. It contained two hundred and seventy eight (278) total, an increase of eighty (80) new ones. Last months list was posted on Friday, Aug. 28th. It contained three hundred and twenty six (326). A jump of forty eight (48). One commenter said that it would be impossible to participate in all of them. She was right. But I also agree with what she went on to say - 'that it was interesting to read through the list and see all of the options available'. It's also fun to visit some of the name catching (often humorously named) blog sites. I have so-o enjoyed my "detective work" {as another commenter termed it} in tracking down these themes. I've even made a couple of new friends ;-D TODAY I will be posting list number six (# 6). {It didn't jump as much in new numbers this time, due to how busy I've been.} And then like the other times, what I plan to do is, for the next week, along with whatever else I post, I will also post that particulars days section from the main list as well. That way, you'll be reminded daily (for one weeks time) of what they are, and can check any that catch your interest. P-L-E-A-S-E - read through the list and see all of the options available, I'd be surprised if you didn't find at least one topic that catches your eye / meshes with your interests ;-} ~ ~ IF I could find an email address for the host of each of the themes, then I sent them notice that their 'theme day' was being featured in this list. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHOM I HAVE CONTACTED VIA YOUR SITES - the only ones I do such for, are any new "theme day('s)" hosts I find, which I could not find an email address for. If you wish to again be notified that I am including you in a list, PLEASE send me your email address via - pink bunnies (at) sbc global (dot) net. I hereby promise I will NOT be giving it out. Also, please put something about "theme days" in the subject line. Thanks!! ~ ~ ~ IF you are/were the host of one of the listed "theme days", and you are no longer hosting yours, PLEASE let me know so I can remove you from the list.
~ ~ ~ ~ IF you host your own "theme day", and I have not yet stumbled across it and thus added it, or, if in your own travels you stumble across one I haven't yet added - PLEASE let me know about it so I can ;-D {how to word this ... I have stumbled across a couple of themes that I have chosen NOT to list - shall we say for personal reasons / preferences. Yea, we'll leave it at that.} ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Several of you have asked - No, I do not list one time blogging events / special days / whatever-you-call-them's in my "Theme Day('s)" lists. I have chosen to only list on-going "theme day('s)". I also do not list "Swaps" or "Give-a-ways". HOWEVER - there were several "theme day's" which do host a way for you to promote those. No, I'm not going to list them here. If I did, you might not stumble across something else you'd enjoy participating in while your searching for them o;-p!! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Just so you know, there is a new Linky option out there called McLinky.
